GoldSmith Jewelers is a family owned, one-location, retail jewelry store located on the Mississippi River in Little Falls, Minnesota. Formed in 1973, by Terry “Tar“ Smith, the business was first known in the industry as a “trade shop.” A trade shop does jewelry repair and diamond setting for other jewelers. As an expert diamond setter, Tar works for fine jewelry stores throughout the five state areas. Although the business was expanded into retail sales in the 80s, the trade shop has remained a major part of his business.
In November 2002, Terry and wife, Sandy, expanded their retail store by more than doubling their space. Known for their fine jewelry, the store now includes one-of-a-kind jewelry, custom design work, and inventory of the highest quality.
Jeff Stumpf was brought into the business as an apprentice in 1996, and specializes in 14K and platinum repair, as well as special design. Jeff has since completed Course III at the Gemological Institute of America and is on his way to becoming a certified gemologist.
Nancy Przybilla is a hometown girl - she's known our customers for years. Her friendly smile and good sense of humor makes shopping easy and relaxing.
